The Inspiration

After many months researching better ways to feed Bowie and Peanut, I made the switch to making both dog treats and food for my two “fur children” Bowie and Peanut. The switch was slow going to be safe but after about 6 months these two were eating only food and treats made from human grade ingredients bought alongside our household groceries. Both dogs began to benefit so quickly the results were astonishing. Thier coats, skin, teeth, and energy improved consistently, and both began to lose weight at a nice healthy pace. While feeding recommended amounts of commercial kibble and treats both dogs were well over healthy weight. Bowie has decreased from 105 to 78 and Peanut 95 to 80, both significant levels of loss with much healthier body types. Once hearing “this should be a business” or “I would buy those” from enough family and friends the idea for Bow-Nut Bites was born.
